About Me
The engineer behind the infrastructure.
I'm a Platform Engineer based in Chicago with over 5 years of experience building and operating AWS-based Kubernetes (EKS) platforms. I specialize in automating infrastructure with Terraform, building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and deploying applications through GitOps workflows using FluxCD.
My day-to-day involves provisioning cloud infrastructure, managing Helm-based deployments, implementing observability stacks with Prometheus, Grafana, and Thanos, and ensuring production reliability through centralized logging (EFK), secrets management (IRSA, Sealed Secrets), and proactive monitoring.
I believe in infrastructure as code, everything deployed through a pipeline, and never touching production manually. Currently exploring Istio service mesh and Karpenter for intelligent node autoscaling. When I'm not in a terminal, I'm studying for my next certification or building open-source platform tooling.
